Review by hotel critic
Having recently stayed at Hotel De La Tour with my family, the experience was indeed unique. Situated on the water's edge, the location lends itself well to both serene mornings and lively afternoons. For a family of adventurers like us, the accessibility by car and available parking made our stay hassle-free. We particularly appreciated the warm welcome from the staff, who were quick to assist with everything from luggage to local recommendations. Our family enjoyed a cozy room with a picturesque view over the harbor—a perfect backdrop for our morning coffees. Despite missing out on the restaurant's fully booked first night, our second night's dining experience was memorable. The fish baked in salt not only tasted exquisite but also came with a hint of culinary theater. The overall charm of this boutique hotel resonates with its family-friendly amenities and activities. While the property exudes old-world charm, the rooms are comfortably modern. What truly sets this hotel apart is the genuine hospitality of the staff, making our family feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay. Hotel De La Tour is indeed a hidden gem, worth uncovering for families seeking a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
